Laserjet Professional P1100w

After every print job a demo page prints out.  It's very annoying not to mention a waste of ink.

Please help.

Thanks!

Hi @JessieV ,

I will certainly do my best to help you with getting the printer working properly again.

I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.

Try and print a hardware self test on the printer to find out if it is a hardware or software issue.

HP LaserJet Pro P1102 and P1106/P1108 Printer Series - Printing a Configuration Page.

Select Method two please.

You may have to update the printer's firmware.   HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer.

Select Option 2.

If you are still having issues, restore the printer back to factory settings.

Turn the printer off, hold down the wireless button and cancel (x button) while turning the printer back on and don't release the two buttons until the printer stops making noise.

Are you using Genuine HP Toner?

How is the printer connected? (USB/Wireless)
