First forgive me if I have spellingmistakes or strange writing; English is not my first language.
I bougth the above mentioned printer a couple of months ago and still haven't figured out how to make it print from wireless.
I also have a HP Officejet Pro 8620 that I have no problems with printing on from wireless. This printer almost installed itself and found the network immediately. The LaserJet not so much! At all. I have downloaded the newest firmware a dozen times now. I am running macOS Sierra the newest version. I do not have a network problem. There are no limits for connected products. The router is not the issue. Nothing I try from all the support links I have been on works.
To be honest I don't know where to chose the network on this printer. There are no options any where. And it doesn't automatically suggests anything.
I can print with the USB, but that's not why I bought this printer. I have tried to print via eprint from my iPhone and iPad. No luck. I am better at programs than installing. My sister though is the installer nerd, and she gave up last night.
I am at my wits end here and hope some one can help me. It seems so ridicolous that I have to call an IT expert to get a small printer working.
Looking forward to any suggestions. Thank you.
Charlotte

Hi @Clixen,

I understand you are having trouble connecting your MAC Sierra to the Officejet 8710 printer. First, make sure the printer is connected to the network. Just check the blue wireless light on the printer. If the wireless light is blinking, then you need to connect the printer to the network first.
You can follow the instructions here to setup the printer to the network: Here is the link.
If the wireless light is solid blue, then the printer is connected to the network. Now follow the steps below and check:
- Click the Apple menu icon, and then click “System Preferences”.
- Click “Printers and Scanner” / “Print and Scan” or “Print and Fax”.
- Right-click the blank space in the Printers list, and then click “Reset printing system”.
- Click “Reset” in the confirmation window.
- Enter an administrator username and password, and then click “OK”.
- Wait until the printing system is reset and no devices show in the Printers list
- Click the “Add button” (+).
- Find, and then select the name of your printer from the printer list, and then click “Add” to add your printer.
- Click “Print Using...”, and then select the name of your printer (By default “Airprint” would be selected)
Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!

Hi Biswajeet,
Thank you very much for your answer. It is the P1102w I can not connect to.
The link you sent me I have already seen and been there several times trying to solve my problem. But I can't fix it. I give up. And have to get and IT expert home to fix it. Very annoying such a simple task turns out to be such a big problem. But thank you for trying to help me.
Kind regards,
Charlotte

Hi @Clixen,
Thanks for replying.
I understand you are having connectivity issues on your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer. Don't worry as I have a few steps which should help to resolve the issue.
As I understand that you would like to install your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer on Mac OS 10.12 Sierra. I did a bit of research and found that the drivers are no longer available for this OS.
For more details, please go through this link.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help you.
Thanks & Regards,
