Hello.

My HP LaserJet P1102w is printing all black (the white paper turns into a black paper, and now I have a nice black Origami paper. lol). I tried to reset the printer, reinstall the softwares and drives, update everything, but the printer continues to print all black.

Someone already solved something like it?

Thanks in advance

Hi @Lepares,

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums again. 🙂 Good day!:) How are you doing? 🙂 I read and reviewed your response.  I understand that you have printing issues with the unit. I am delighted to assist you with that. 🙂

Stupendous effort on diagnosing the issue correctly. Splendid troubleshooting.:) It is always a privilege to work with customers that have superlative technical skills. 🙂 Great job uninstalling and reinstalling the printer software. Kudos to you for that. 🙂

This issue could be hardware related as the entire page is turning black.

Please to make a few copies from the printer directly from the printer without any intervention or communication from the computer.

  • Please try to make a few copies directly from the printer without any intervention from the computer. Please place the required document face down on the flatbed scanner and touch the copy button. If it copies fine, then the issue could be software related.
  • Please try with different cartridges also to check how it prints and copies.

If it still prints the same way, then the issue is hardware related and please  contact HP phone support by visiting this link: http://hp.com/contacthp  to either get the printer serviced or replaced. If the unit is under warranty, the manufacturer’s warranty should cover it for you.

There is actual hardware problem which may ocure several times. The reason why you get black pages is that toner loose connection to printer, when one of the contacts gets stuck inside.

Simplest way to fix it is to carefully take small object and restore metal contact that gets stuck inside. Its the vertical one of the 3 contacts at the top, that is marked in the photo.IMG_20180430_0840362.jpg
