Well I'm one step further. It will send from the glass but not the adf. If Feeds fine but wont dial.

Any other Ideas?

I will be able to call support at a later date.

Hi Sparrk,

That is very strange. You will need to call support this way they can look at possible settings or hardware issue causing this problem. Let me know what you find out?

Hi ...I can send out fax from the ADF , however I can NOT fax from the glass. How do i fix this issue...Thanks in advance

Hi redx1988,

When you type in the number you are going to fax to, and then hit send fax it should give you a message "Send fax from the glass - Yes". At this point you would need to press the ok button to complete the fax from the glass. Note: If you have paper loaded in the ADF you will not get this message, and it will fax whatever papers are loaded in the ADF. Let me know what you find out?

I've done what you said. The problem still persist. I can NOT send a fax from the glass. When I enterthe phone number I hear it dial and see the display showing"connecting" and once connected a few seconds later an error report shows it failed with under the number of pages column "0"(zero). From my observation , after you enter the phone # I hear the scanner starts up, but quickly stops(approximately 1 second or less). Unlike when i use the ADF to send out a fax, I hear the scanner for 2-3 seconds.and thereafter successfully sends out the fax.
