I've connected my printer to my Mac via usb cable.
I've use HP Easy Start to setup my printer.
It prints fine from the Mac via usb.
I would like to print wirelessly from my Ipad2.
How do I set this up?
The sales litreture says this model does wireless printing.
However, I can not find any menu item on the printers set-up menu that says "Turn on Wireless".
Both my Ipads report "No AirPrint Printers Found".

Hi,
The following link shows it specs
http://www8.hp.com/au/en/products/printers/product-detail.html?oid=7236544#!tab=specs
It does not have wireless facility. To use AirPrint on your iPad wirelessly, you need to setup your printer on a wireless network
(a) Connect your printer to a wireless router using LAN cable (your printer has 1 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000T network)
(b) Use your Mac as a wireless print server and hope iOS can work the AirPrint out for you. Can you connect your iPads to your Mac wirelessly now ?
Regards.

Thanks for the prompt response.
Seems, I've messed up and purchased a product that doesn't work as I expected. 😞
I'll investigate the options for connecting the printer to my home network.
Unfortunately, my router is down stairs and the printer is upstairs so not straight forward for cable connection. 😞

Further to the above...
I've installed a free app, "Air Printer Lite", on my Mac and that seems to beautifully share my LaserJet as an air printer.
Obviously, I can only print from my Ipad when the Mac is on, sharing the printer but I can live with that so all good. 🙂

Hi,
Yes, because you need a "middle man" to do the printing work.
