This is more of a headsup than anything. Had a 5550 with a 13.20.00 jam in top cover area error and spent too much time on it because I wasn't using diagnostics properly. Tested all sensors from the paper feed assy up and they all seemed to be functioning exgept two in the paper feed assy. Replaced the PF assy and error still there. Did checks on every sensor I could find. Finally looked closer at the idle states of the sensors and noticed the fuser delivery sensor, while working, was in the wrong state(1 instead of 0). Noticed that the sensor lever in the center of the fuser exit assy seemed to be laying right but it wasn't. The spring holding it in place had popped out of position and was keeping the arm toward the rear of the fuser instead of the front. Good lesson. Pay closer attention to the diagnostics readings.
