Product: Laserjet 600 M601
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Laserjet 600 M601 Error 99.09.67 Not Bootable. I have downloaded firmware and put in the USB flash disk and I follow the instructions to the letter but I get the error "unknown error" immediately it starts the download. I also tried the tcp connection but nothing happens.

99.09.67 Disk is not bootable please download firmware

Description

This is an error indicating that there is no firmware loaded on the disk. This is usually the result of installing a new disk or performing a Format Disk command.

Recommended action

Do NOT replace the formatter.

  1. Perform the following action from the Preboot Menu under the “Administrator” option:

  2. Download, Option - USB Thumb drive (download firmware).

  3. In RARE occasions if unable to update firmware, the USB board assembly may be defective causing FW not to be read from thumb drive.
