I am -so glad- to find a thread on this!  This started happening to me in the last couple of months and has been driving me nuts.  I reviewed images uploaded by Andeusal, and it looks very similar to my artifacts.  I've tried to get it to the most simple case, and found that even a b&w vector image I've created myself is coming out blotchy.

BUT I have learned one thing: it happens with jpg images, but NOT with png images (for me).  In photoshop, I created a simple b&w vector image and exported to jpg, and printed - blotchy.  I exported the same image to png and printed - looks absolutely perfect.  See a picture of the two outputs here:  https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bHD1CPaG709Sb7a61SiCCKlp0HyJDJv8/view?usp=sharing

So maybe this is some driver/software issue having to do with how it handles...jpg images?  Certain color profiles?  I haven't had time to do it for other image formats, but it's a start.  Any ideas, ShlomiL?

My firmware is CLRWTRXXXN002.2208A.00 with build date 2022-02-16

(After looking this up and seeing the date, I think this date might coincide with when I started seeing the problem...)

Thank you, I hope we can figure this out!

I forgot to mention my setup:

Mac running Monterey (MacOS 12.3.1)

Printer is MFP M479fdw

Hi @ShlomiL, any luck in finding a solution to this issue?  Is it a driver issue that we need to wait for HP to fix?  Thanks so much for your help!
