Customers machine will display this error after it sleeps. disable the sleep mode and never get the error.

Any thoughts?

On our HP LaserJet 600 M601 after an upgrade to the firmware didn't eliminate the 49.23.38 error I too noted that the error seemed time related.  I.T. kindly turned off the printer's sleep mode which appears to have stopped the error from reoccurring as it has not come back for a number of days now.
