Hi
How can I factory reset this printer - somebody set a password and we cannot access anything through the panel...
Thanks!
Mike

- turn off printer
- press and hold the lower right quadrant of the touchscreen when you turn on the printer
- when the permanent storage init. message appear, release the buttons
- when printer finished NVRAM, it will come to ready status

it is a little tricky. take your whole thumb and cover the bottom left had corner. be sure and leave it there for several seconds. I just tried the reset and had to use my whole thumb.
(Although I am employed by HP, I am speaking for myself and not for HP)

Thank you again - I do appreciate your time on this. I won't get a chance to try this out for a few days now, but I'll post back the results. Just so I understand - there's a 'hidden' button in the bottom right corner of the display panel, seperate from the part where the red 'X' cancel button lights up sometimes?
Regards
Mike
