This rebuilt printer works fine when connected via USB to a computer, but when it's on an Ethernet connection to our network, it prints only the custom reports (configuration, usage etc.), but no test pages or documents we request. I can access the web interface with no problem and I see no error message. I have tried several IP addresses, pooled them and also updated the firmware. Suggestions?

print a network summary and configuration report. Double check your network settings.

From the web interface: disabling IPv6, DHCP v6, setting the duplex speed to TX100MB rather than auto will often resolve this problem. I recommend disabling WS Discovery as well

Also you may need to check your "printer properties" "ports" tab and make sure the printer is using a TCP/IP port and not a WSD port- if using a WSD port, delete the drive and reinstall, but be sure to select "TCP/IP" for the port type and do not leave it set to AUTO

I am not a HP employee. I am a service tech on these forums researching topics and offering my best guess to aide in your troubleshooting.

Thank you for responding. Since I posted this question, I have spoken with Fernanda of HP Support in Costa Rica, and it is now working after turning on DHCP, letting it choose a new IP address that way, then setting the latter statically, and also using the HP Universal Driver.
