Whenever I run out of paper mid printing there is no way to continue.  I have to cancel the print job and start all over again.  It says to hit the GO button, but I have no idea where it is.

ALSO.....I cannot seem to print envelopes.  It is waiting for me to hit the GO Button.

I had another HP printer that worked the same way, but there WAS A BUTTON

Any advice?

Hi kbregman,

I understand that you are having an issue with resuming the print job if the paper runs out. I have researched this and found that there is no 'GO' button for this model. If you open and close the lid it should trigger the continue print signal.

I hope this information helps, let me know.

Thank you,

I worked on behalf of HP.

Hi Advance23,

I did not post the original question; but, I was having the similar issue. I was using the duplex print option. It waits for you to move the front sheet(s) from the output tray to the input tray, then it expects the 'Go' button to e pressed. Your suggestion worked. It's an odd way to impement a button; but itworks.

Many Thanks!

Did not work for me!  Had to restart computer!

Anything else I can do next time?

This was great!  It worked for me!  As was said, it is a very unusual way to trigger a manual print.  No button?  Lift the lid.  Strange engineering but it worked for me.

Thanks!
