Hi, i hope you can help me after i spent 1/2 hr online wiht someone who didnt speak english and then we got disconnected!
OK, this printer is about ?1.5 yrs old (free with my compac notebook) and had no probs til about 3 mos ago. now if i want to print something i 1) MUST have the printer disc in my drive and BIGGEST PROBLE 2) my printer always tells me i'm 'out of paper' and to 'Load Paper.' Well i've tried everything, from disconnecting all cords and letting it reset, ti inserting only 1 page of paper, then 5 pages of paper, then about 50 sheets of blank paper....still refuses to print. this is maddening. and i'm starting an online school program where i must be able to use my printer.
can anyoen please help me with this problem?? its a C4289 All-In-One Photosmart HP printer. and fwiw, my old one started acting this way before it died. but honestly there is nothing visible wrong with it - have tried everything to no avail. thank you!!
