Hi ,,

 

Since two days I am having this problem with my HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4625 printer ,

 

I got this error on the display ( Load paper into the input tray, and then press ok ) .

 

There is papers in the tray , I tried to unplug the printer while it is on and re connect it after 15 sec. but the same .

 

I left it unpluged over the night also the same .

 

if i press the ok , nothing will happen only the sound .

 

please any help on that .

I saw your post about how your Deskjet Ink Advantage is showing you the error message to load paper, when paper is already loaded in the tray. Please check out the link below and try the troubleshooting steps for this issue. If you have troubles with the steps, let me know and I will do my best to help. If the steps do not resolve the error, contact HP to discuss a printer replacement. I will leave HP's info below for you.

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on: HP contact options - click on Get phone number
Case number and phone number appear

Sir ,,

 

I tried all these but the msg didn't go from printer , and i can't make any sellection from the printer board .

 

the printer can print test page , so the paper can be loaded and no issues , but can't scan or enter the printer settings .

 

if I scan from my pc , it will show me a msg that printer busy !!

 

any other help !

Hello again! Thanks for getting back to me:)

I understand you have tried the troubleshooting steps, and the printer is still showing that it's in an error state. Just to clarify with you, if the error message is still on the front panel of the printer, and the steps did not help the error go away, the printer will need to be serviced as stated in the last step from the troubleshooting guide.

If the error message is showing on the computer screen, please let me know and we can try other software steps.

Hi Again ,,

 

if I want to print any thing then an error msg will come on the computer screen " Alignment Recommended " and three selection " Align - Do Not Align - Cancel Print "

FYI , I didn't install any new cartridges or printheads !!

 

if I press Align , it will print " printer status report "

 

if I press Do Not Align , it will print what i send for printing !!

 

and Cancel print will cancel the printing .

 

I think the printer need to have a new software to be flashed to .

I understand the error is showing on the computer, and not the printer. In this case, please try uninstalling the printer driver and software from your computer, restart the computer and reinstall the printer.

 

  1. HP Printers - Uninstalling the Printer Software (Windows)
  2. Restart the computer.
  3. Run the Printer Install Wizard here: Using HP Diagnostic Tools for HP Printers in Windows
  4. Try printing again.

I saw that the error message is showing on the printer front panel, and would suggest the same steps as I linked you to in my first message.

 

I will add that you can ensure the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, and avoid using surge protectors and power bars.

 

If the error continues, you will need to have the printer serviced.
