Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My M1536dnf keeps initializing.  I've had this printer for a number of years and just recently it's been initializing every five minutes.  I used the HP Print and Scan Doctor and reinstalled the software.  I still have the same problem.

I found a related issue on the board but there isn't a solution other than disabling wake-on-lan function which I can't find in the menu.  http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/LaserJet-Printing/HP-Laserjet-1536dnf-MFP-constant-cycling-every-few-mi...

Hi! @Tony_J, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!

I understand your printer keeps initializing after every five minutes.

Don't worry I will try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

As you mentioned you have reinstalled the printer software but the issue still persists.

You have to perform an NVRAM reset on your printer and check if it helps.

Since the steps to perform NVRAM reset is confidential I will send you the steps in a private message, please watch your inbox.

I'll watch your reply!

Have a wonderful day ahead! 🙂

I sent you a message back.  The solution you mentioned didn't work.
