Hello everyone,

We're trying to setup the M251n printer with USB connection on a Windows 2008R2 Server Standard Edt.

We cannot find drivers for this specific O/S version, only for Windows 2008 Server, Win7 or Win8 (64-bit).

The drivers seem to install correctly but in the task manager the "HP LEDM" stays with a yellow warning and the printer that is created also has a yellow warning icon.

Can someone help us on what this HP LEDM is exactly and how perhaps we could successfully install the printer?

BRgds,

Pavlos

Turn on the "User Experience" settings.  The HP LEDM drivers use usbscan.sys as the USB driver and that driver is not available on the Windows Server editions unless "User Experience" is turned on.

Sorry, that is actually "Desktop Experience"

Brilliant  works like a charm but wasted a day till I  found this solution.  Pity hp dont give better instructions when shipping. The interesting thing is my printer worked ok with the warning yellow triangle but now this has gone even without reinstalling the driver. Love the printer anyway.
