HP Color LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M577c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Here is the issue I am facing with two different MFP M577 multifunction printers, after an update (not sure if pushed or user-installed) any and every scan function is disabled. Logging in as Admin or any user they are disabled in all facets. Including the EWS ability to toggle or even show a tile to scan.

Here is what I have attempted to remedy this to no avail:

*Power cycle

*Factory reset (short and long)

*Updated firmware

*Configured all EWS settings I can find.

Additional data:

The unit/s can copy perfectly, connect to our network (EWS accessible) and perform all print and fax functions effectively. If there is a step I have not taken or any advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated. One of the units is still under man. Warranty.

There are a couple of places that might be causing this issue. Under security>access control make sure that scanning is enabled

Failing that, I suggest that you backup your settings, perform a partial clean and the restore settings to see if it works. Sometimes the system just gets corrupted and needs to be reset, like a desktop computer.
