hello i have a problem with my deskjet printer.

I have a MLS magic tablet and when i try to print a file nothing happened.

The tablet connect with the printer with wifi direct but when i try to print out i have the same problem. In the wifi direct screen  i see that one device connected but when  i try to print at the tablet said that is not connected.

Can you tell which type of software i need to download to fix this problem?

And another question at the same tablet in the windows mode how can i install the printer driver?

Thank you  I wait for your answer

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand your Deskjet printer isn't working with the Android tablet,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate solution I need a few more details:

When was the last time it worked or is this the first time you are attempting the connection?

did you look for HP Printer drivers at the google play store?

If you haven't done it yet, here are a few steps that should help you in the meantime:

Step 1: Check the requirements

Before installing the HP Print Service Plugin, make sure the printer and your Android device meet the following requirements:

  • The printer hardware is set up.

  • The printer is connected to the same wireless network as your Android device, or Wi-Fi Direct is enabled on your printer and your Android device.

  • You have an Android device running OS 4.0 or later.

Step 2: Install and turn on the HP Print Service Plugin

Install or update the HP Print Service Plugin from the Google Play Store, and then make sure the plugin is turned on.

 NOTE:

Menus, icons, and the location of the print settings vary depending on Android version and device manufacturer.

  1. On your Android device, install or update the HP Print Service Plugin (in English) from the Google Play Store.

  2. Once the installation or update is complete, choose a method to turn on the HP Print Service Plugin:
