Hello, @Chantelle11 - Hope you are well 🙂

Allow me to welcome to HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

I understand that you need to connect the Deskjet 3630 printer to your MAC 10.6. I will be glad to be of your assistance 🙂

Since this is an older model OS, we do not have downloadable driver version for your printer. But you can try and install the printer using the MAC built-in drivers. Here are the steps:

  • First, run the Apple Software Update. Check here for steps: http://hp.care/2cNgw3C
  • Once done, connect the printer USB cable from the printer to the MAC.
  • Now, Click the Apple menu icon, and then click “System Preferences”.
  • Click “Printers and Scanner” / “Print and Scan” or “Print and Fax”.
  • Click the “Add button” (+).
  • Find, and then select the name of your printer from the printer list, and then click “Add” to add your printer.
  • You can check http://hp.care/2dKCTWg for more detailed steps.

Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!

Good luck 🙂
