Does anyone know how to change the vertical printing alignment for images being printed from a Mac?
Every time I print an image the printer centralizes it in the middle of the page and I couldn't find how this setting can be changed, so that I can print an image at the top of the page?
Thank you!

Greetings @rodrigozenga,
Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are looking to change the print settings to print the photo to the left or top. Happy to help.
May I know the application you use to print photos?
Have you checked the print preview option available in the application before you print?
Recommend you to use the print preview option available in the application to understand how the printer is going to print the document or photo.
Based on the print preview, you can change the print settings to match your requirement.
Please refer to the below articles to understand the print settings in MAC.
HP Printers - Print Driver Settings Guide (Mac)
HP Printers - Printing Documents (Mac)
HP Printers - Printing Photos (Mac)
You can also try other applications available online to view photos and print on MAC.
Let me know if this helped.

Hi Chimney_83, thanks for your reply!
I use Mac Preview to print the photos and I don't see any other additional option than to use the print preview mode.
This mode, however, does not allow me (at least I couldn't find the solution) to print an image on the top / bottom / left / right of the page is the image format is smaller than the selected paper size. When I have this situation, the printer aways prints the image centralized both horizontally and vertically, i.e. the image stays right in the middle of the page.
All selections in the print preview screen (Layout, Color Matching, Paper Handling, Cover Page, Paper Type/Quality, Advanced Print Options and Supply Levels), none of them give me an option of choosing where on the page should the image be printed on.
I have looked on Apple forums and many users say this is an issue with the printer driver and not with the Mac application itself...so I'm pretty lost on this.
Thank you!

Thanks for the reply, recommend you to look under layout in MAC preview and check if you have an option to arrange where the photo needs to be printed. The option you are looking for is not built-in in the printer driver, but actually in the application you use for printing. Recommend you to use HP Photo creations or any other 3rd party application for your choice that would provide you the feature you are looking for.
Keep me posted.

Hi Chimney.
The collage print project in HP Photo Creations lets you place one or more photos where you want on a page.
HP Photo Creations is a free download for Mac and Windows at www.hp.com/go/hppc.
Tip: If you hold your Shift key and click a photo on your layout, the photo toolbar shows several alignment options. On Design Your Own projects, you can change the page orientation between portrait and landscape in the Sizes menu.
Hope this helps,
