Hi,

I desperately need to make work this printer because I am at a small village in Iceland and there is no access to new resources.

- I get this message when I send data to the printer:

Mechanism Error: The print cartridge cradle cannot move. Turn the printer off, free the cartridge cradle, and turn the printer back on.

- The "Check Paper" and "Check Print Cartridge" are blinking orange constantly.

- The print cartridge cradle moves non-stop from left to right and crashes violently on both edges several times before it stops.

There is no paper jam, I tried to reset the printer, I cleaned the ink contacts with distilled water and I bought new inks and nothing worked.

Is there something else I can try?

Thanks,
Antigoni
