HP Notebook - 15-dw0083wm
Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

So I obviously know what I am looking for after checking the computer specification page;

https://www8.hp.com/us/en/laptops/product-details/34443631

I have 2 problems that are still ongoing for me. One stick of ram is not good enough and I would like to find out if it will expand my original VGA Share Memory Size. It worked just like that before. I could also go crazy enough to upgrade to 32 gigabytes even if the operating system does not officially support that function and even if the CPU specifications only support 8 gigabytes.

So, I have this second problem. The computer specifications page only show limited information for upgrading hard drives. They don't supply information for upgrading hard drives. But, I can upgrade anyway and would like to. All I know is that it uses a 128 GB M.2 SSD hard drive. I have no idea if it uses the SATA, NVMe or PCIe interface? This is a problem because obviously I can't open the laptop computer to look for part numbers or part descriptions.

Its specs

            https://support.hp.com/ph-en/document/c06620364

It has   128 GB M.2 SSD which is SATA and it only one slot for RAM

1. RAM: You can replace 4GB with 8GB (max) using

            https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfs824a/ct18485527

2. STORAGE: You can upgrade to 500GB, 1TB or 250GB using

           https://www.crucial.com/ssd/mx500/ct500mx500ssd4

For warranty

Warranty is a grey/gray area very hard to say in concrete. For new generation machines adding something is a work for Authorized Service Provider parts . You can add yourself. If something went wrong due to this upgrade, I think HP would not honor warranty.

Hope this makes sense.

Regards.

I have a problem with this link;

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/consumer-ssds/vie...

They are all labelled as M.2 SSD hard drives. They have a different interface in the description for a reason.

Well I can only ask this question one time and this is the information I am looking for so I have to accept the solution. Regardless of the discussion for details.

Actually a last notice update to the post. I have a product sticker on my laptop that I just noticed. It does have a lot more information regarding this issue. It's strange I did not pay attention to that earlier because it just says that the drive is in fact a 128 GB SATA 3 M.2 SSD with 4 GB DDR4 system memory. That should be good enough. Thank you once again.

And just again a lot of wrong information for the product page here:

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-15-dw0083wm

And I stopped at this product last time I was checking, because it was outdated and it was not available for the size I was looking for.

Yes. I have a problem right now. As I just installed a 8GB 0118 2400MHz memory stick. It would appear that this in fact only has one soDIMM slot. I wasted money buying 2.

Please don't use this screenshot to jack particular part information from the hardware website and warranty! This will be a problem as it is a problem out of the box for tracking certain problems!
