My wife needs to print using Mirror Image. I can not find the options to tell the 8600 Pro to print a mirror image or flip horizontal. Is there software that I need to download to get this update option? I can not find it under any of the choices I have under file print. Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the forums Supplyporkchop
I understand you are looking to print mirror images and you are having an issue with finding the option to do so. I would first suggest ensuring you have the full software and driver installed for your printer and look for the option again.
Here is the link to download and install the full printers software and driver:
HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a Drivers
Let me know the results!
If there is still an issue, let me know which OS you are running and which program you're printing from.
Help to find which Operating System you are running:

I just have a hard copy to scan from the document feeder or just lay on the printer glass. I have even gone through all the options on the printer's screen looking for options to print mirror image. If I had an electronic copy, I just played with "trying" to go through the different options to see if I could even get "mirror Image" subject. No dice that I have been able to find. Instruction manual does not even talk about "mirror image" in the 254 page document. Can a person call HP with paying $100 to find out how to do it??

Hello again,
I have been doing some research and came across this post that has worked for another community member. Bob explains how to add an alternate driver that contains the option to mirror image print.
See it here: HP Officejet Pro 8600 - How to Print Mirror Image
If you do wish to call HP, this is their contact info:
If you are calling within North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions: click here.
Good luck!:)

It used to be posted here but the link was deleted, here is what I remember and I am currently using for a 8600 and 8610. You can get the driver for the HP 6980, load it, have to go in manually and change the port for the HP 6980 driver to match whatever printing port you are using for your HP8600/8610, this will make that driver send the info to your printer and in the 6980 printer properties you can select mirror image printing. You just select the HP6980 printer anytime you want to print in mirror and use the 8600/8610 whenever you want to print normally. Hope this helps.

I had the same issue yesterday. I wanted to buy some transfer sheets for printing on T-Shirts.
Try one of your photo enhancement programs.
I have an old Microsoft program I got in 1999 caled PHOTODRAW.
It permits both rotating and FLIPPINg any photo.
I created the text/artwork in PHOTODRAW as a jpg and flipped. Workrd perfectly.
