HP ENVY 7645
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In attempting to print the black ink has missing lines, color ink is okay.  When I run the clean cartridge procedure including initial, second level and third level the diagnostic page still comes up showing missing lines in black ink.

My Windows 10 is Version 1903 installed on 7/27/2019, OS Build 18362.267 and my computer is a Dell Inspiron 580

I've had this problem before and the only way to solve it is to replace the cartridge.  I've had it happen to the color cartridge in the past too and only solved it by replacement.  Ink is too expensive to continue to do this.  I use only HP ink cartridges.

Thank you.

Hi Kumar0307,

I tried what you suggested.  After disconnecting the power for 60 seconds and then running the alignment test the printing turned out fine after the 3rd level cleaning.  Thank you for your help.
