Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Have tried everything recommended in file found on line HP Officejet Printers, not resolved the issue. Does this mean that I really need to buy another printer?

I take it the printer is out of warranty? Have you tried contacting HP Support to see if they can offer a discount on a new model?
