I am using an officejet 4630 printer and I would like to print the first page first. However, I read all the online help and questions on the HP forum and still can not do this. When I go to printing preferences the layout tab does not give a page order option. Please refer to pic below....Why do I not have this option? Aslo do I change the printing page order if I do not see this option?

Hello, @aeller3689 – Hope you are well 🙂
Thank you for becoming an HP Forum member. It is a great location to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!
I see that you are having issues while setting up the page order on your Officejet 4630 printer. Going through your post, it looks like an issue with the drivers that are installed on your PC. Try the steps below:
- First, unplug the USB cable from the printer if present.
- Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Officejet printer entries and uninstall them.
- Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
- Press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" (There is a space between .exe & /) and press enter.
- Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
- Again, go to the Run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
- Restart your computer.
- Now click http://hp.care/2oUNJBT to download and install the full feature driver software.
- Connect the USB cable if prompted and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Once done, restart your PC. Then go to control panel – Devices and printers. Right click on Officejet 4630 and select “Printing preferences”. Now go to layout tab and change the page order.
Let me know how that goes!
Good luck 🙂

Good Morning @Dvortex
So...I did exactly what you said. Step by step and removed all exisiting HP printer related files, drivers and devices from the computer, reinstalled and restarted the computer. The option for page order is still not available in the preferences tab under layout, nor is it anywhere in settings.

Hello, @aeller3689
Appreciate your efforts!
Go to Printing preference and check the "Advanced" tab at the bottom right of the preferences window.
There will be few option that you can check and see if the page order if one among them.
Thanks, I'll watch for your reply!
Cheers 🙂

Hello, @aeller3689
Ideally, the page order option should be available with the full feature printer drivers. I will do a little research on this issue to provide you with an accurate solution.
Alternatively, please go through these forum threads discussing a similar issue and see if that helps:
