I am running into a dilemma.

I need to be able to print preprinted forms on certain print jobs on tray 1 but i also want to make sure that everything else prints to tray 2 which has blank paper.

is it possible to have this set up? If so what would i need to change in order to make this work?

Configure the printer (via front panel menus, or Embedded Web Server equivalent for network models) so that the paper size (e.g. A4 or Letter) and paper type (e.g. Plain or Letterhead) is different in each tray.

Then when you initiate a Print request, ensure that you select (via the required Print Preferences dialogue) the required size/type of paper, and set the paper source to 'printer auto-select'.
