My printer is plugged directly into our wall socket. It suddenly started getting stuck on Now Printing and Cancelling modes. It prints without trouble, though, from web sites and my desktop (usually Word documents). Pressing the shut off button on its control panel doesn't help -- it won't turn off -- neither has unplugging and waiting to plug in again, re-installing it, finding new drivers, changing port and IP v4 address, turning off and unplugging and re-connecting my Netgear modem, and cleaning the rollers and realigning the cartridges (which I did not so much to address my stuck problem, but I had to change my black ink anyway). The printer eventually turns off, fortunately, but seems snagged for too long with its wheel spinning and no response to me, even when I nicely urge it out loud to quit. I found a user manual online, but it only covered up to Windows 7 and I'm now on Windows 10. Maybe I should look for a more recent booklet, but first I want to hear from a forum helper. Please. Thanks. Oh,there may be a conflict involving my networks, but I don't recall changing anything like that. I'm the only one using my laptop and printer, but I share internet service with my household. I haven't seen any IP conflicts, but oddly enough the printer itself shows up as one of my network options, and I don't know why it's listed there or how to remove it. Related to my problem? I don't know. Sorry. Thanks for whatever help you can provide.
