My HP 7520 will not print in color even when I select color. I have cleaned the heads and alligned stuff. Ink levels are fine.

Print Quality Diagnostic prints fine in color, print status report is in color also. But when I try to print from my desktop, I get black  only.

Please advise as I am lost right now for options.

Should I uninstall and start over?

Thanks

Roger T

@fishy

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Photosmart 7520 printer. I understand that it is not printing in color, and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Check estimated ink levels.
  • Make sure the ink cartridges are properly vented and seated correctly.
  • Clean the printhead manually.
