I recently changed network provider from Vodafone to Eir. My printer (HP Envy 5530), printed with no issues under Vodafone. Once changed to new provider, the printer cannot see the new WIFI. When I reboot the router, the printer then connects to the router for 2 mins, and then disconnects. I have reset the printer factory settings, as suggested in a previous solution post, but this is still not solving the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions to offer?

Make sure that your printer is connected to a 2.4 Ghz wireless network, because your printer only supports the 2.4Ghz network.
You are having problems communicating with your HP printer's wireless (Wi-Fi) network with a screen on the control panel.
To resolve this problem, I recommend that you follow the following solutions in the order listed.
To prepare the printer for a wireless connection, restart the printer, computer, and router
- Turn the printer off, and then wait 10 seconds.
- Disconnect the printer power cord from the printer.
- Turn off the computer or the device you are trying to print from.
- Connect the printer power cord to the printer, and then turn on the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from your wireless router, and then wait 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the router.
NOTE:
Wait until internet service is restored. Internet service is interrupted while the router is off. - Wait at least 3 minutes, then turn on the computer.
- Try to enable the printers Web Services again.
Check the network connection that the Wi-Fi network is enabled and if Wi-Fi Direct is enabled.
At any time, Wi-Fi Direct should be disabled if the printer is connected to the Wi-Fi network (wireless network).
- On the printer control panel screen, on the home screen, touch the Wi-Fi Direct icon (
).
- Touch Settings (
).
- If the screen indicates that Wi-Fi Direct is enabled, touch the toggle button next to Wi-Fi Direct to Disabled.
I recommend that you follow the steps below to isolate the problem and arrive at a correction:
NOTE: Ignore the steps you have already tried:
- When the printer is turned on, unplug the power cord at the back of the printer.
- Disconnect all other cables if the printer is connected.
- Press the power button on the printer and hold for 15 seconds.
- The printer must be connected directly to the power outlet and not to a surge limiter.
- Reconnect the power cord for printing and the printer should turn on by itself. If the printer does not turn on, turn it on manually.
Update the printer firmware as follows:
- On the printer's front panel display, touch the Wireless icon (
) to retrieve the printer's IP address.
- Launch an Internet page, then type this address in the address bar and press Enter key. The Embedded Web Server opens.
- Click Tools tab, and then click Printer Updates, and then Firmware Updates.
- Click the Check Now button to install the latest firmware update.
If the problem persists, let us assign a static IP address for your printer.
The following steps will help you:
- In the printer control panel screen, touch the Wireless icon (
) to retrieve the printer IP address.
- Launch a web page, and then type this address in the address bar and Enter. The printer Embedded Web Server opens.
- Click the Network tab, then under Wireless (802.11), click Network Address (IPv4).
- Check the Manual IP option, and then press the button to Suggest a Manual IP Address.
- Once the first 3 fields are filled in, check the Manual DNS Server.
- Enter the address 8.8.8.8 as Manual Preferred DNS Server.
- Enter the address 8.8.4.4 as Manual Alternate DNS Server.
- Click on Apply and OK.
- Try to print and scan.
Best regards, 😎

Hi Man, I am not registered for HP Ink, but I always use HP Ink in the printer, and not spurious ones... I have also restored the factory settings on the printer, earlier to-day, but did not make any difference.
