HP Photosmart 7525 Printer

My HP Photosmart 7525 printer is not feeding the paper from the main tray.  I have following the on-line troubleshooting remedies to exhaustion.   These steps did not fix the problem.  The only way I can get the printer to grab the paper is to manually push the paper further into the printer so that the back rollers grab it. This not easy as it must be fed just right and happen before the printer issues a note that it is out of paper.  It is very obvious that the initial feed rollers that drop down are not grabbing the paper.   They are clicking / spinning but not grabbing.  I have not changed software.  I am using the same laptop.  I am using the same paper.  Is it time for a new printer or is there a part that is needed that is easily serviceable by the user.  Thank you. Welcome to the HP Forums

I saw your post on HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer not feeding paper issue. I am happy to help you with this issue!

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Perform a power reset.
  • Print a Printer Status Report.
  • Check the paper, and then reload it.
  • Clean the paper feed rollers
  • Adjust the paper settings in the print driver
  • Use an automated tool to clean the printhead

Click here for the document which you can refer.

If the issue is resolved and you appreciate my help,

Let me know how you make out.

Cheers!
