HP Officejet 6500A Plus
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Wow what a pain.  Just stopped and lost connection to the network at home.  No blue icon lit on the printer and I have tried many times to reset it.  I do have it on the web and network now finally but still no icon lit to tell me so.  When I try and print it sits in the queue and says printer not connected.  I installed some software from HP and got it connected to my PC wirelessly but we have 4 devices here that can't print.  I have gone into the router settings and added the device using the WAP number the printer gave me but nothing.  Frustrated for sure as I need it for my small Business.  Hope someone can help.  Thanks in advance, Jack

Hi Sandy,

Sorry for the delay but I have done all that.  I have managed to print using HP software loaded but still don't have the blue icon lit on the display.  It used to be there.  My wife's ipad will not print any more nor my Samsung tab.  Jack

Morning and thanks for the reply,

One thing I tried over the weekend was downloading the app for HP on my wife's ipad.  It does see the printer sitting on the network alright but still nothing.  I will call support as you suggested and thanks for the advice.  Jack
