I recently downloaded Avery Software to print labels.  Ever since, my printer will not print anything.  Every time I try I get a fax cover letter.  How do I get it back to print mode?

Hi @Becky9919Ann

Welcome to the HP Forums!

This is a wonderful place to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are unable to print after installing the Avery software.

I’d love to help!

It is possible that the default printer on your computer might have changed after installing the Avery software. Follow below steps to make the HP printer as default printer again.

  1. To choose a default printer, select the Start button and then Settings. Go to Devices and select a printer. Then select Make default.
  2. In Windows 10, your default can be the printer you last used. To turn on this mode, open Start and select Settings. Go to Devices and switch Use your last used printer by default to On.

Let me know how it goes. Awaiting your reply!
