My printer is making a horrendous, loud clicking noise when I click Print

It turns out there is no support from HP on this.  My fix was to by a Lexmark pro for less money and it comes with a 5 year warranty and great customer service. The ink cost less as well. I will never buy HP again.

The HP Desktop 4480 printer just started making a loud clicking noise when you print...no paper jams have occurred, it is printing beautifully.  Can you share what could be wrong?  Thank you.

Turns out it's the carriage rollers. Use your maintenance kit that came with your device and lubricate the rollers. This should stop the noise.
