HP Deskjet 3630 on Windows. My printer is only printing every other line of the document. I see this has been a problem for other people. I've tried the generic help suggestions that were posted and the printer still isn't functioning. If this is a persistent problem why isn't HP rectifying it?

- I had same problem. Drove me crazy for 5 days. Could not follow HP EXPERT instructions. Do not know how to 'reinstall'
- I pulled out all the plugs for a few hours and the result was not identical to all my previous efforts. So unplugged over night

The printer printing every other line of a document would generally be caused by a connection issue between the cartridge and printer or a defective cartridge. The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve this issue.

[The step-by-step procedure is in the document I referenced in my post above.]
To contact HP Support see the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:
Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on: HP contact options - click on Get phone number
Case number and phone number appear.
