Officejet Pro 8620
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My 8620 printer has about a 3 inch margin on both sides top and bottom.  I have tried to reset but remains 3 inch.

This only happens when printing from yahoo mail on my computer to this printer.  I can print from same yahoo account from another computer to this printer and margins are fine.  I have contacted Geek Squad at Best Buy where I purchased

my printer and computer and they could  not fix problem.  Help!!

Page Size, margins, content -- the program you are using to submit the print job controls the settings.

For example, if you are printing from your browser, you must adjust the settings before you print in Print / Print Preview / Page Setup.

Examples:

Firefox > File > [Print] > Print Preview >>

Page Setup > tab Format & Options >

(wording varies)

Scale: > Percentage options OR Shrink to Fit

OR

Page Set Up > tab Margins and Header / Footer

Internet Explorer > File > Print Preview >

Shrink to Fit > Fit the page contents to paper

OR

Internet Explorer > File > Page Setup >

UNCHECK Enable Shrink to Fit >>   Set page contents at 100%

and

In Page Setup: Adjust Margins and/or adjust Paper Options

  • Chrome > Settings > Print > More Settings
  • If margins are left at Default, the print may start 2 inches from the top of the paper >> check!
  • If needful, adjust your margins and / or settings to Fit-to-Width
  • Switch on / off printing of Headers and Footers

Open Edge browser > open your URL / webpage > Settings (three dots, upper right) >

Print > Adjust Scale, Margins, etc >

More Settings > Adjust as desired > Print
