I have tried to go into the properties and change the effect BACK to original image and save it but everytime I print, I have to manually go back into the same steps and do it everytime or the document comes out only 25%.
How does this get fixed?

Hi,
I would recommend, to try to print the internal report of the printer, to see if the problem continues.
And from witch application are you printer?

CACUNR,
There are two places where the length of the document are controlled. The media in the tray needs to be known by the printer. In the settings, select tray X, paper size, and make sure you have set it for letter (or A4) or whatever you are using. If it is set for any size there can be a problem.
Next when you send the document and the driver opens for the printer, make sure that the correct tray and the size and type of media are the same as the tray you have set in the machine.
Since you note you reset each time and it works, I assume the reset overcomes the mismatch at least that one time. Often the machine will say load tray X with media Y or custom media or press "Checkmark" to use available media. that will overcome the issue one time also.
