My printer scans and copies but does not print, which is a bit of a nuisance because I specifically wanted a printer...Now, Messrs Hewlett Packard, this is a common problem which keeps rearing is significantly ugly head...if you want people to continue your products ( even with your crappy built in obsolescance) please sort it out...I know it's a driver thing.

Hello, @YOHODI – Hope you are well 🙂
Allow me to welcome to HP Support Forums! It is a great platform to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!
I see that you are having issues while printing using your Deskjet 2130 printer. You are right - if the printer can copy and scan then it most certainly an issue with the printer drivers.
Let’s first try to fix this issue using HP Print and Scan Doctor (PSDR). PSDR is an automated tool which can diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. Please go to http://hp.care/2bZ9w2q to download and run HP PSDR. Once you open the program, select your printer and click on “Fix Printing” to automatically diagnose and fix the issue.
If the issue persists, then try the steps listed below:
- First, unplug the USB cable from the printer if present.
- Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Deskjet printer entries and uninstall them.
- Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
- Press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" (There is a space between .exe & /) and press enter.
- Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
- Again, go to the Run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
- Restart your computer.
- Now click http://hp.care/2p3KUhU to download and install the full feature printer software.
- Connect the USB cable if prompted and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!
Good luck 🙂

Thank you for getting back to me...Well, you wanted to know the outcome, and this piece of **bleep** is going back to Amazon.
I purchased this item in good faith, I unboxed it and hooked it up to my PC... then I inserted the soft ware disc.....yeah.
I'm a carpenter, you know, a simple fellow, if this junk can copy, and scan then it should to all intent and purpose, be connected with my PC...yes? No.. thats too bloody simple ain't it.....Your scan Doctor, needs retraining, and is about as much use as '**bleep** on a bull'..and I apologise for being a mere mortal, a lowly consumer, but the rest of your tech speak gobbletigook is just that....Press the "windows Key"+ R to get the run **bleep**?...For 23 quid, I was not aware that I would be buying a 'state of the art' high end piece of technology..that in order for it to work, it would need 'arming'...I just wanted a **bleep**ing printer!
Dear Messrs Hewlett and Packard..please do not apologise, or patronise me with any more bollox..
