I purchased my printer about 6 months ago. During set up I enrolled in the ink program. After a couple of months I unenrolled because i was sent too much ink. I am now trying to use the cartridges i still have in my possession and HP is holding my printer hostage. I am not allowed to print using the cartridges I already paid for unless I re-enroll in the program. I have been on the phone for over an hour now and cannot get help. I keep getting transferred to someone else and then a recording that says your call cannot be routed. OMG - I just want to print something! I'm so frustrated. How in the heck do I use the cartridges I have already paid for without being enrolled in the program?

Hi @BambiW

Sorry to hear about this. Which country are you in? Did you follow the instructions below for cancelling out your Instant Ink account?

Just FYI once you cancel you are unable to use the specialized Instant Ink cartridges, and instead need to use Trade cartridges. If you're not having much luck with phone support have you tried using the social media options?
