Please help, I'm losing tons of work time to this and it's super frustrating. Every time I try to scan, the device says it's not connected, even though it is--cables fully connected, printer and scanner are in my computer system, the printer works fine. Only way I can scan anything now is using Scan Doctor, and running a Test Scan.

Also--the printer tells me the scan was sent to my computer, but it never says where--and it's nowhere anywhere in my computer! Where on earth does the scan go?? Can anyone help please?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

The default location for scanned output is My Documents>My Scans.

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

thank you very much, unfortunately nothing ever appears in that folder, I already looked at previous problems like this and looked for that. There's not even a folder for scans on my system. where else might it go? It's just bizarre it keeps saying that it was sent to my computer but it will not say where.
