hp deskjet 5850
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Help! HP no longer supports drivers for our hp deskjet 5850 -- and I still have a lot of ink so I don't want to just toss it. Unfortunately - I no longer have the disks. Anyone out there have a disc I could purchase for cheap?? Thanks.

Hi,

There is no CD for Widnows 7 for your printer, it should be installed with an alternative driver.

 

Follow these steps to install your printer on Windows 7:

Schlomi - thanks. ... and i just found out it is Windows 10... will your suggestion (thanks) work for Windows 10 also???

I tried 5600 adn 5900  - and am getting error message. i wonder if i have to give up on windows 10 working with this? with all my unused ink??? 😞 thanks for your help.

I afraid the pritner is not supported on Windows 10 and no drivers are available as lsited below:
