I'm setting up a Laserjet p2035n networked printer on a Windows 2003 server, that is already set up on another computer.

I have the IP address and create a new standard TCP/IP port but the HP website only has USB drivers (even for the N). I just need plain network drivers.

Please Advise.

Hi,

You may either use the standard Plug and Play drivers by running the installation, then terminate it and add the printer through the Windows have a printer dialog. the software can be downloaded from here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18...

Select Add a Printer and follow the steps by creating a Standard TCP/Ip port by providing the printer IP address.

Follow the steps till the model selection is listed.

Click Have Disk and browse to C:\Program Files\HP\HP LaserJet P2030 Series (May also be listed under Program Files (x86) for 64-bit OS), from there select the displayed INF file and select your printer.

Follow the steps to complete the wizard.

For standard network installation you may use the full software below:

Hey, do you happen to know what happened to the links you've posted above?

I cannot seem to locate the drivers for the HP Laserjet p2305n on HP's website, and actually contacting support to speak to a representative requires a ridiculous amount of BS.

I've tried third-party download services, but they either (a) want me to put in a Windows install disc in order to install some component from there, or (b) they tell me to connect my printer to my computer (which I do) and turn the printer on (which I do) and the installer still does not recognize that the printer is plugged in.
