We got our brand new HP printer yesterday afternoon and not even 24 hours later we are having issues with it.  The printing stops and we get a message saying "no paper pick up".  We checked the printer to see if there was any paper stuck anywhere and there wasn't.  When I open the paper tray after the message appears, a sheet of paper will be slighly out of the tray so it looks like the rollers were trying to grab it.  We tried to see if it makes a difference with a paper tray full, half full and nearly empty.  It does it eitehr way.  Any suggestions?   I'd hate to return it!

First thing to check is the setting on the tray.  I think the paper is drawn from the back of the tray so make sure the setting in the front is in the correct position and not making the paper to tight in the tray which prevents the tray from lifting all the way up.  Second keep the tray empty and see if it will pull from the manual fold down tray in the front.  If you still can not get the bottom tray to work, call hp customer care since the printer is under warranty they need to help you get it going or replace or offer other options.
