I have a custome built PC which has served me well over a long period. It has MS Vista Ultimate (not everyone likes it howeverr its been very stable) and I have a HP 7500A E910A MFD. It recently started ADHOC not printing and when I check the print status as I send a print job to que, the job is appearing with status already showing DELETING - PRINTING, then job disappears, and nothing prints. This will occur multiple times on multiple documents then suddening it will start printing again, may only last printing one to a few prints then just as sudddenly it will stop printing again and status starts immediatley reverting to DELETING - PRINTING again.
I have uninstalled the printer drivers and resinstalled them several times from both the HP disc that came with MFD and also from the HP web site to ensure I had latest version of driver. Nothing seems to work. It stops an starts printing at its whim. Any suggestions ?

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP Officejet 7500A Wide Format e-All-in-One Printer - E910a and a Win Vista-based PC. While trying to print, the print jobs appear as deleting from printer queue and the disappear. You have uninstalled and reinstall the printer drivers and the issue still persists.
I would like to know if any changes (hardware or software) took place on the printer after which this issue may have started. Meanwhile, I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
- Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
- Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.
- Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
- The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector. Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.
If the printer continues not to print, please check if the printer can make a copy. If copy works fine then continue with the below steps:
- This link will give detailed steps to resolve print queue related steps: http://hp.care/2i3Mj5f.
I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Let me know the results. Cheers! 🙂

Kazi,
thanks for reply. About a month ago, my Wireless MFD received an update directly to MFD from HP on internet, it was not the driver on the PC which received the update.
In addition, I would jsut clarify, the print jobs are not getting stuck in the que they are going in, then automatically deleting and no print occurs.

Andrew

Kazi,
one additional thing I shoud tell you, if I wait min 5 minuts between each print job, all is fine every print job works, but if I activate print one after the other only 1st will work, or if I activate a block of documenst to print it will only print first document andnot the others.

Andrew

Kazi,
I have now followed all the instructions on you email and the link. I had also before and again then also used HP Print and Scan Doctor. All test prints I do or on Doctor wrk fine as long as there is a minimum 5 minutedelay between me asking them to print. In addition all my copying and scanning options are working fine. Not sure what else to do.

Thank you for your reply. 🙂
If the copying is fine and there is no delay then the printer hardware is working fine. We could try to uninstall the printer drivers from root level using the below steps:
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
Once you have performed the above steps, please download and install the drivers from this link: http://hp.care/2i99i9T
If the issue persists then you may reset the printer to its original factory settings. I have sent you a private message with the reset steps.
Hope this helps. Let me know. Cheers! 🙂

Thank you for replying. I appreciate you taking your valuable time to troubleshoot. 🙂
So far we have tried to uninstalled and reinstall the drivers and it did not help. I believe copy works fine and there is no delay while making a copy. reset also could not help.
Finally, we can attempt a firmware update on the printer. Please try to update the firmware via this link: http://hp.care/2iftw5d
Keep me posted. Good luck! 🙂

Kazi,
you may recall I mentioned earlier about a month ago the printer (not the HP software on my PC) received a HP update about a month ago, that was a firm ware update. That is when all the trouble started !

Thanks for the reply and performing all the suggested steps. Recommend you to uninstall the printer software again and use Windows built in driver instead. Click here for assistance.
To the best of my knowledge, the firmware update would not cause this issue.
Good Luck.
