My Envy 5530 is not printing the correct colors and sometimes doesn't print color at all.
Red does not print. It comes out as a purple. Other colors may not print at all. Navy blue looks like sky blu and prints with a pink border.
I am using HP ink and both the tri-color cartridge and the black cartridge are nearly full.
The other problem I am having is that when I set printing to print grayscale (black & white) it still tries to print in color but even then it's not the actual colors of the page.
I've done a lot of trouble shooting including the use of the HP diagnostic tools.
I even changed out the ink cartridges to see if that was the problem.
Should I just trash the printer?
