My 8600 had been working fine until recently. It was not wired and all devices on my wireless network were connecting via the ATT UVERSE (Pace 5268AC Gateway). For some reason, printing became intermittent and then stopped on most devices. I deleted the printer driver and reinstalled and still had print jobs that would start but never complete. I then connected the printer via Ethernet and reinstalled it as a network printer (not wireless network). I reset network settings from the panel on the printer. It will print from the iMac connected to the router, but not the various handheld devices we have. I put the printer in DMZ mode on the ATT router and that allowed my phone to print to it. I put the firewall back on full — and no printing. Despite being connected to the internet, AirPrint is does not seem to be available for the device or was not installed. The finger pointing goes HP - Apple - ATT and back again even though everything worked at one point. I have yet to try just the wifi amor the printer since this should work and that is what started the problem I think. Any suggestions on ports to open or other ways to get back to working again.

You can reset the printer. You can reset it by going to settings.

I did reset the printer and that did not work.

Disconnected ethernet.  Went back to wireless.  Reset again.  Re-synced with wireless router again (on wi-fi).  AirPrint now an option.  Seems to work -- for now.  Gave up on ethernet and ports.
