OfficeJet 8600 premium when printing 200 letters prints 10 then only blank pages. Restart, repeats.

Printing a newsletter in MS Publisher using mailing list from Excel spreadsheet, 200 records.  Prints about 10 perfectly, two sided.  Then starts printing perfectly blank pages, 2 sided.  Continues until I stop it.  Restart job, and same happens after another 10 - not always same number.  Took about 6 tries to finish the 200 recipients.

Plenty of ink.  Printer otherwwise works fine.  Just seems to get tired when it has to work hard.

Have been able to do this in the past on this printer.  Now I have a new computer.

Do you get the same results if you print to a PDf file?

I tried printing to PDF file, but it only prints one at a time.  I am not fomailiar with this procedure, so perhaps I am doing someting wrong.  Anyway, each file I made this way looks perfect.  but just one copy.

Are you trying to do a Mail Merge to 200 people?

When you select print in the Printer name: did you select Microsoft Print to PDF?

Thank you for your interest in the problem.  But yes.  Just tried again.  It only printed one copy to the pdf file.

Do you mean just one newsletter was printed?

Although it should normally print a two sided page for each of 200 recipients, it only printed one into the PDF file.  It did include both sides.

I have not tried printing the series to PDF file before, so I do not know what is supposed to happen.
