Where may I purchase oil for my HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus. We have several in our organization and I have also used them in my last place of employment. They always eventually sqeak really loud when used.

AGAIN, PLEASE ADVISE WHERE WE MAY PURCHASE OIL.  (Or may we just use plain ol' WD40?)

I would suggest a light oil such as 3-in-1 oil.  Use very sparingly, perhaps one drop on each side of the carriage.  Move the carriage back and forth a few times after placing the drop of oil.

Do not use WD-40 for this purpose - while it may help for a short time it will leave a residue that will increase the drag on the carriage.
