HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

EDIT:  I'm still getting message when I go into the HP Smart app that there is a Web Services update available.  Yet, I am unable to download that update via the HP Smart app OR find it on the HP website for direct download.  HELP!

I also notice that I have two OfficeJet 9020 Pro printers listed in my "available products" section of my account.  Why?

I bought the OfficeJet Pro 9020 printer to replace my 10-year-old OfficeJet 8600 Series printer.  It has been a SAGA!  Two printers (first one kept giving me a cartridge jam error and had to be returned,) hours online with HP Tech Support (who were great,) to install the second printer and almost two weeks after I ordered it,  I think I finally have a functioning printer!  This was a buggy install, and I would be afraid to recommend this product to anyone who was not tech savvy.

The printer would intermittently give me an error about a failed firmware download that I would have to clear before I could continue using the printer.   I was about to contact tech support again, when I googled the issue and discovered that I could download the firmware directly from the HP website and install it.

If you are having a problem updating firmware with the 9020, go to the HP website where you can download it directly: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Which brings me to my next bug: HP, please, please, please, check your security certificates on your firmware download utilities.

When I tried to download this to my computer, my Norton told me there was a problem with the security certificate for this download, and I needed to manually okay it.  Once I did this, it downloaded and installed just fine.  Really, HP???  I feel like I should get a paycheck from you.
