Officejet 5740
Chrome OS

I cannot get my Chromebooks (HP and Asus) to see that my registered Officejet 5740 is online. It's on the list in Settings, but it's shown offline. My tablets can print, but not my Chromebooks. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi,

Is your printer connected to the same network as your ChromeBooks?

Ensure you have HP Print for Chrome installed from teh Chrome Web Store, then check for any difference:

Please let me know of any problem,

Additional info: If my Windows laptop is also running, the Chromebook shows the Officejet online. Does this mean the Officejet is not eprint or Cloud Print ready?
